TERANGA literally means hospitality in Wolof, the Senegalese national language. In Senegal, hospitality is a standard that is never compromised. It's an art, a culture, a way of life. 
TERANGA is the spirit of camaraderie and acceptance of one another. 

OUR MISSION
NATURAL AND WHOLESOME

TERANGA is on a mission to create refreshing and healthy prepared foods, snacks, frozen treats and drinks handcrafted in small batches using baobab and other unique ingredients from around the world. 

The baobab superfood, other ingredient like moringa, tamarind,  and spices like African Bird Eye Chili are the base of most of our prepared meals, snacks, drinks, shots, and popsicles.
Our products are both flavorful and nutritious, and can be enjoyed on-the-go or just simply sitting at home with family.

TERANGA is part of the movement to get away from industrialized, engineered foods and back to foods that are natural and wholesome.

My favorite childhood memory is of my grandmother using baobab fruit to make refreshing, invigorating and nutritious beverages for us kids. My mother and I continued the tradition after her passing and when our family moved to the US I wanted to bring the flavors of my childhood with me. 

The Baobab tree, also knows as the tree of life, grows throughout most of Africa and is an essential part of African cuisine and culture. In Senegal, baobab is a natural remedy for many ailments. It has more Vitamin C than oranges, more magnesium than kale, more potassium than bananas, more calcium than milk and is high in soluble fiber. It's a superfood, and it's in most of our products.
